Dawn

Dawn-a special time, the first part of my day
But the day grows long and dawn has gone away
Dawn you hear my heart it's crying like the wind
We don't know to end we only know how to begin

So I try to make the evening go away
I'll wake up to another day
And there you'll be again

Dawn always starts on the other side of the world
Where it brings a smile to a south side little girl
And as it leaves that place, without a trace, to find me here alone
I miss her now, for her love remains unshown

And I know evenings gonna come my way
I'll make it thru another day
To see you here again
